Accepting a Proposal
After you post a role with RecruitLoop, we make sure that post is sent to a few different recruiters qualified to meet your needs. Within a few hours, you should see a response from them, in the form of a "proposal". This proposal will set out why the recruiter wants to work for you, and will outline the steps they would follow to help you find some great candidates.
Hopefully, you'll get more than one proposal, which will give you some options to choose from when deciding which recruiter to work with. It's likely you'll receive a call from some recruiters during this decision-making process, and you should also feel free to call them with qualifying questions.
When you receive a new proposal, we will send you an email letting you know. Then, you'll be able to login to the RecruitLoop platform and accept one of your proposals or accept it straight from the link on the email we sent you without any login required.
Here are the steps to follow to access and accept a proposal:
Step 1: To access your proposal, click the link in the proposal email notification.
Step 2: Clicking that link will open your "proposals" page. On the left, you'll see the name of any recruiters who've proposed. By clicking on their name, you'll see their proposal on the right hand side of the page.
Step 3: Click on 'Award project' if you're ready to get the ball rolling, otherwise click 'Decline'. You may also send an email to the recruiter and ask questions if you aren't decided yet and wants more details.
Step 4: Once you click on 'Award project', you will see another page where you can check your company details and the terms and condition of the project engagement
Step 5: Once you've clicked "Award project", click "My Dashboard" to set up and view your account
That's it, you did it! The remaining proposals will be declined automatically and our team will notify every recruiter that the project has been awarded to Recruiter XX.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I've accepted a proposal, why don't I see a project in my Dashboard?
A: Great observation! As soon as you accept the proposal, the recruiter will be notified to accept the project. Once they've accepted and set up the project, you'll see it on your dashboard. We'll also send you an email notification to let you know that it's all set up and ready to go.
Q: I accidentally awarded a project to a recruiter, can I still take that back?
A: You'll have to email your Marketplace Success Manager through firstname.lastname@example.org. Let us know which project you accepted, and we can cancel it for you and alert the recruiter.
Q: The page just keeps loading, what should I do?
A: Please try it using a different browser preferably Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
