How To Submit A Sourcing Request
RecruitLoop offers "Sourcing as a Service," a great way to build your talent pipeline, by finding passive candidates who match the specific experience and location requirements that you need. To get the process started, you'll need to submit a sourcing request. This is something that you can do whether or not you're already a RecruitLoop client.
There are 2 ways to submit your sourcing request:
Option 1: If you do not have a RecruitLoop account, you can submit your sourcing request directly at sourcing.recruitloop.com, then skip to Step 5, below.
Option 2: If you already have a RecruitLoop account, you'll be able to submit and view your sourcing requests through your account.
Here's how it works:
Step 1: Login to your RecruitLoop account at recruitloop.com/app/login
Step 2: Click on the "Sourcing" button in the top menu
Step 3: Click "Post a Sourcing Project", as shown below.
Step 4: You'll now be taken to our sourcing request form
Step 5: Here comes the important part: submitting the details of your sourcing request. This page will ask you to fill out the sourcing project details. Please give as much detail and specificity as possible when answering these questions. It's very helpful for the sourcing team when you can provide precise detail about what you're looking for.
Step 6: Once all details are filled out, click "Submit". Once you've clicked submit, here's what happens next:
- Your sourcing request will be sent to our Sourcing Team.
- You will receive an email confirmation letting you know that we've received your request.
- We'll get back to you within 24 hours with a calibration list of 10 candidate profiles. You can use the link in that email notification to view your request on your sourcing dashboard.
Step 7: If you already have a RecruitLoop account, you will see your sourcing request marked as "pending" on your sourcing dashboard. This request will take a few hours to show up there. If you're wondering if your request went through, check your inbox for your confirmation email.
And that's it! Time to sit back and wait for your calibration list, at which point we'll need your feedback to proceed.
Q: I've submitted a sourcing request. How do I set up my account?
A: After you receive your calibration list, you can create your account by clicking "My Dashboard". This will allow you to create a password.
Q: I have colleagues who need to review the results with me, how can I get them on the recipients list?
A: Once you've received your calibration list, you can click "my team" in the top right corner of your screen. This will allow you to add additional team members to this sourcing project. They'll receive an email notification that brings them to the project.
Q: Can I submit 2 requests, and split them 50/50 within 1 sourcing list? I'd rather have 25 candidates each for 2 roles than 50 candidates for 1 role
A: No, sorry. Each list can only be for one role. All lists are for approx. 50 candidates.
Q: What tools do you use for this sourcing? Am I just paying you to search via LinkedIn?
A: We do use LinkedIn for our research, but we also scrape a variety of other social sites and tools to get the information that we need. Our search tools are often determined by the type of candidate and industry. Our team uses tools that allow them access to more LinkedIn information than you'd be able to access on your own.
